As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Cyclone Dana is set to make landfall in Odisha tonight between Bhitarkanika and Dhamra, bringing wind speeds of up to 120 kmph. Heavy rains and turbulent sea conditions are already affecting Odisha and parts of West Bengal, where large-scale evacuations have been carried out.

- Mass Evacuations: Over 3.5 lakh people in Odisha and 2.4 lakh in West Bengal were evacuated on Thursday. Relief camps have been set up in high-risk areas to provide shelter, food, and essential supplies.
