Bollywood Rave Party Link: Mumbai Police Question Orry in Major Drug Case

The Mumbai Police Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) has called influencer Orry (Orhan Awatramani) for questioning in a ₹252-crore drug case. Officers want to check his links to the people involved in the drug network.

Key Accused ‘Lavish’ Names Celebrities and Parties

Police arrested Mohammed Salim Sohail Shaikh, known as Lavish, in the same case.
During questioning, he said he held rave parties in India and other countries. He claimed that Bollywood celebrities attended some of these events.

Shaikh returned to India after Dubai deported him for his role in the ₹252-crore mephedrone seizure in Sangli in March 2024.

How Shaikh Ran His Drug Network

Police say Shaikh lived in Dubai for three years. From there, he managed drug suppliers, arranged raw materials, and guided drug production units in several states.

These states include:

  • Madhya Pradesh

  • Gujarat

  • Maharashtra

  • Telangana

  • Rajasthan

Officers believe he connected peddlers, coordinated shipments, and kept the illegal network active.

Why Police Want to Question Orry

Shaikh mentioned Orry during interrogation. Because of this, the ANC now wants to ask Orry a few clear questions. Officers plan to check whether he joined any parties, met any accused, or had any role in the network.

Police have not said if Orry is a suspect. They only want his statement for now.
