The Himachal Pradesh government has launched a massive recruitment drive to fill over 2,000 vacancies across various departments, boards, and corporations. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has instructed the Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur, to start the hiring process without delay.
Vacancies Include Previously Advertised Posts
The job openings include both earlier advertised posts under the Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission (HPSSC) and newly approved requisitions by the HPRCA. To support candidates who could not apply earlier, the government has granted a two-year upper age relaxation.
Results for 660 Posts to Be Declared
During a recent meeting, CM Sukhu directed officials to announce results for 660 posts under six post codes, which had been previously cleared by the state cabinet.
Transparent & Fair Recruitment Process
The Chief Minister emphasized that the government is committed to merit-based and transparent hiring. He criticized the previous BJP administration, highlighting that multiple question paper leaks had compromised the recruitment process in the past.
Computer-Based Tests & One-Time Registration
To ensure a faster and more efficient hiring system, the HPRCA will implement computer-based tests (CBTs) for government job recruitments. Additionally, a one-time registration module will be launched by March 20, allowing candidates to apply for multiple jobs with a single registration.
Conclusion
This recruitment drive marks a significant step in boosting employment opportunities in Himachal Pradesh. With a streamlined application system, digital testing, and a focus on transparency, the government aims to provide fair job opportunities to deserving candidates.
