In a tragic development from Bhadrak, Odisha, police have discovered the skeletal remains of a 59-year-old woman and her 35-year-old daughter, suspected to have been murdered and buried. The victims, identified as Jamuna Nayak and her daughter Kousalya Nayak, had been missing since September 27.
Suspects Identified
Authorities suspect that Kousalya’s husband, Gurupad Gahana, along with his brother Nirapad Gahana, may be involved in the alleged murder and subsequent burial near a canal in the village of Panchagheria, under the Nayakanidihi police limits.
